The Experience
Three nights at Continental House, Hepburn Springs, as the season turns.
Spring doesn't ask for much, just simply that you notice. The light staying a little longer. The first warmth on your skin. Something in you starting to stir after months of holding still.
Most of us miss it. We carry the heaviness of winter straight into the busy months and wonder why we never quite felt the change.
This retreat is a pause in the middle of that turning. Mornings restorative practice that wakes the body gently, breathwork that clears out what's grown stale. Afternoons are yours: the gardens, the spa deck, a book, a nap, a conversation that goes somewhere unexpected. Creative workshops make space for the part of you that doesn't speak in sentences. And each evening we share a nourishing offering, where what you've been carrying alone gets set down among women who understand.
By the third morning something has usually shifted. Not dramatically, spring rarely announces itself. But you'll notice that you are breathing differently. Lighter. More curious about what comes next.
Come as you are. Leave a little more yourself.

Meet your retreat host, Helen Forster
Helen Forster is the founder of Helen Forster Soul Work, a wellness and spiritual practice dedicated to creating safe, sacred spaces for rest, reflection, and transformation. Based in Melbourne, Helen has worked in the spiritual wellness space for over a decade, and all of her work is held with a deep commitment to presence and care.
At the heart of Helen's approach is the belief that nothing needs to be fixed or forced; only witnessed. Rather than offering answers, Helen creates the conditions for stillness, safety, and deep listening, so that what is already alive within each person has room to surface and be seen. Through breathwork, sound, ritual, retreats and circles, she holds space with quiet steadiness, allowing others to meet themselves fully; often for the first time in a long time. It is this gentle, unhurried presence that has become the heart of her work, and the reason so many return to it again and again.
Attendance is by application only
Ensuring every gathering holds the right energy for deep, safe work. If you're feeling the pull, that's usually the sign it's time.
You don't need another holiday.
You need a homecoming.
A Soul Work Retreat with Helen Forster isn't about ticking off sights or filling your days with activity for the sake of it.
It is a deliberate pause.
A sacred container designed to help you meet yourself again, fully and without apology.
Here's what women consistently discover when they say yes to that pause.
-

Permission to Stop
Most of us don't realise how much we're carrying until we finally put it down. Whether it's the two days of intentional silence on the Deep Work Retreat or the slower, rhythm of the Spring Retreat, every schedule is built around one thing: giving you real permission to turn your awareness inwards. No phones demanding your attention, no roles to perform, just space to breathe.
-

A Safe Container for Deep Release
Real transformation needs real safety. Every retreat is held with the kind of warmth and non-judgement that allows women to be vulnerable; often for the first time in years. This is where old patterns, buried grief, and past trauma get the room they need to finally move.
-

Reconnection With Your Intuition
Somewhere between the demands of daily life, many women lose touch with their own inner knowing. Through ceremony, ritual, breathwork and stillness, retreat guests describe reclaiming a sense of self they thought was gone — and learning to trust that voice again.
-

A Program Designed With Intention, Not Filler
Every workshop, ceremony, and quiet moment is sequenced with purpose, so you're gently guided deeper rather than overwhelmed. It's the difference between a retreat that entertains you and one that actually changes something.
-

Nourishment on Every Level
Wholesome meals, herbal teas, beautiful accommodation, time in nature, and optional treatments (massage, facials, Turkish Hammam) mean the body is cared for as attentively as the soul. Healing happens faster when you're not running on empty.
-

Genuine Connection With Other Women
You are never doing this work alone. Retreats bring together women who are ready to go deep, and there's a particular kind of relief in being witnessed; and witnessing others; without masks.
