Small Group Breathwork

Join me as I facilitate this intimate group Breathwork session which will be an opportunity to take your journey to a whole new level of surrender. You will be guided on a journey within your own sacred space where you will be completely held and supported to release what is needed to move forward on your own healing journey.

Holotropic Breathwork is a powerful practice that involves deep, rapid breathing to induce altered states of consciousness. While many people find it transformative, it is **not recommended** for certain individuals due to the intense physiological and emotional effects it can trigger. Those who should **avoid** or **consult a qualified professional** before attempting Holotropic Breathwork include:

1. People with Cardiovascular Conditions

- High blood pressure (uncontrolled)

- Heart disease, arrhythmias, or previous heart attacks

- Risk of stroke or aneurysms

2. Individuals with Respiratory Issues

- Severe asthma (unless you have an inhaler and medical clearance)

- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

- Any condition that affects normal breathing

3. Those with Neurological Disorders

- Epilepsy or a history of seizures

- Severe migraines triggered by hyperventilation

4. Individuals with Mental Health Concerns

- Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (especially mania), or psychosis

- Severe anxiety or panic disorder (as the breathwork can amplify these)

- PTSD (unless facilitated by a trauma-informed practitioner)

5. Pregnant Women

- The intense breathing can affect oxygen levels and potentially induce labor

6. People with Recent Surgeries or Physical Injuries

- Any recent major surgery, especially affecting the chest, lungs, or head

- Detached retina or history of eye surgeries (due to pressure changes)

7. Those Using Certain Medications

- Any medications that affect heart rate or breathing (consult a doctor)

- Strong psychiatric medications that could interact with intense breathwork

9. Those Prone to Fainting or Low Blood Pressure

- Rapid breathing can cause dizziness and an increased risk of fainting
